One of my followers on twitter (@Responsy Display) asked me a
question: can acrylic display stand sustain with high temperature? When I saw
this, I think this is a question that is useful and important for the users. So
I’d like to talk about this.
1. The main material of acrylic display stand is acrylic resin, it
has very good moisture absorption ability. The condition for keeping acrylic
board dry is 5-6 hours with 78-80℃
temperature.
2. The sustaining range of acrylic display stand to the surrounding temperature
does not have ordinary fluidity, but non-Newtonian, so the acrylic display
stand’s solubility and viscosity will be decreased. This reflects that the
acrylic display stand is sensitive to temperature.
3. The temperature of acrylic in the flowing process is about 150℃, but it
will be higher than 270℃ when it starts to decompose. So the acrylic display stand is
flexible on the temperature change; the production and usage of acrylic display
stand will not be influenced by the temperature. High temperature resistance is
one features of acrylic.
From the above information, it is clear that the acrylic display
stand will not be damaged by the temperature. However, I still advise you do
not place the acrylic display stand in extremely hot or cold places.
