The acrylic display stand is now the most popular display equipment
in most commercial places. Some people complain that the acrylic is easy to be
out of shape; maybe it is because they do not know how to protect it from been out
of shape. The followings are some useful ways to avoid this.
1. Keep it away from heat;
The acrylic cannot be placed in too hot environment. It will deformation
once its temperature is higher than 70℃. And it will soften
once its temperature is higher than 100℃. So the working
temperature of acrylic material products should be under normal temperature
environment.
2. Pay attention to the weight capacity;
The weight capacity of acrylic is not as high as wooden or metal material.
Its weight capacity is not high; so the acrylic display stand is not suitable
for displaying too heavy products. This is one reason that may cause the
acrylic out of shape.
3. Increase the thickness of acrylic board;
One way to increase the weight capacity of the acrylic display stand
is to increase the thickness of the acrylic board. By this way, the weight
capacity can be increased.
In addition, the assemble work is another aspect that may cause the
acrylic out of shape. The acrylic has some expansion factor; we should leave
enough space for it when assembling.
