We can see many kinds of colored acrylic material watch display
stand (and many other acrylic display stand). Actually, the basic color of
acrylic is clear, how is the color added? There is a kind of staining technique
can realize this.
The followings are some aspects that should be concerned during the
staining of acrylic material for the acrylic display stand.
1. Acrylic material staining technique is not complex. The staining
time is based on the shade of the color you want. If the color for the acrylic
watch display stand you want is light, put fewer dyestuff and shorter time;
otherwise you will need more dyestuff and longer time.
2. Clean up the chroma tank before staining. Make sure there is no
dirt or impurities.
3. If you want to deepen the color, add 5%-7% acetone into the staining
solution. Place the acrylic material into the chroma tank to make the distance
between the solution surface to the stained acrylic surface and the bottom of
the tank is no less than 15mm. The temperature should be controlled between
55-60℃; and the staining time is 3-10 minutes according to the color you
want for your acrylic watch display stand.
4. After staining. When the staining process is finished, clean up
its surface by clean water, clean up the settlings on its surface; when its
surface has dry up, embrocate Vaseline to its surface to make it bright and
glossy.
